Below is the schedule for the 2015 Honey Festival. Save the dates! Check back often, as the scheduled events are subject to slight changes. The Honey Festival is held rain or shine. Some activities may be cancelled in the event of poor weather.
Friday, September 11th
Wagner Free Institute, 1700 W. Montgomery Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19121
3 – 5pm: Children and families are welcome for bee-related educational activities inside our museum and out in the yard (weather permitting).
5 – 7pm: Kick off the Honey Festival weekend with our Honey Happy Hour! Join us in our yard (or in our museum if there’s rain) for activities for all ages, bee bearding, hive demonstrations, live music, sales of honey and related products, and samples of honey-brewed beverages.

Saturday, September 12th
Wyck Historic House, Garden, Farm, 6026 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144
10am – 4pm: The festivities continue at Wyck on Saturday, with a variety of activities that celebrate and educate festival-goers about our important friend, the honey bee! This always-popular event includes honey tastings, extractions, presentations, bee-themed children’s activities, bee-bearding, mead making and tasting, and much more!

Sunday, September 13th
Bartram’s Garden, 5400 Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19143
10am – 4pm: Honey Fest wraps up at Bartram’s Garden, where visitors are welcome throughout the day for beekeeping demonstrations, a Children’s Bee Festival and Parade, our second annual Honey Cooking Contest, Cooking Demonstrations, Native Plant Sale, Marketplace, and History and Garden tours.
