On Saturday, September 9, Wyck is happy to host the second day of the 8th Annual Philadelphia Honey Festival.  A big part of the fun comes from the shopping!

HoneyFest is a wonderful time to buy a unique gift for someone special or indulge in a tasty treat.  Keep an appetite for Tasty Treats Food Truck, Random Tea Room, and John & Kira’s Chocolates.  We will also have samples from sponsor Honest Tea  ready to quench your thirst!

Grumblethorpe Farmers Market will be selling fresh produce at Wyck from 10am-2, and Wyck will have a limited amount of chicken eggs and heritage roses for sale.

The mead tent is always a crowd pleaser, and this year won’t disappoint.  Festival sponsors Colony Meadery, Philly HomeBrew Outlet, and Young American Hard Ciders will be here for the mead tent programs and samples (learn more here).

 

We look forward to eating, drinking and shopping our way through Honey Fest with and hope to see you at Glen Foerd on Thursday, September 7th (5-9 pm), Wyck Historic House, Garden and Farm  on Saturday, September 9 (10-4) and Bartram’s Garden on Sunday, September 10 (10-4). See you in September!
